What’s in a whore? The answer is simple. YOU ARE. And everything you think about when it comes to a woman and how she asserts her sexual nature.
If, in your opinion she is a goddess …beautiful … free flowing and wildly mysterious…then that’s your whore.
If you think she is low, stank, damaged goods, needs to get it together, will never marry…ya’ll know what you say…then that’s your whore.
If she is sacred…brings forth the true nature of orgasm, taking you on healing journeys for your soul and spirit… then that’s your whore.
In any case, the woman, whom you have defined, is NOT YOU…but you, most certainly, are beneath every thought you project in her direction.
The lowest level of this thinking produces an impression that a woman’s sexuality is (or should be) controlled by culture and moral code. This wouldn’t be all bad if history had not perpetuated confusing and mixed messages bordering on misogyny and degradation of the female form and function.
An example can be found in the video below featuring a song by Ludacris called “Ho” (C) 2000 The Island Def Jam Music Group. Watch and listen as he calls out “You’s a hoooo”…which can also be heard as “Use a ho”. Though the song insults men who are sexually free, the images in the video are all women… I continue to share my thoughts below…what are yours?
- Computer generated, it measures the woman according to an oppressive rule that ‘she’ should be respected if she buries her sexuality beneath the rubbish of unfavorable public opinions and celebrated as a mark for disdain when she offers her body freely or in exchange for money – or anything at all, for the matter at hand.
-
- ENTIRELY WRONG, these thoughts have worked their way into the fundamental minds of girls all over the world as they begin to develop sexually and learn how to handle their power and bring balance to their urges. Left in a quandary…and she won’t stay there for long…our young girls may suppress, which renders the energy susceptible to being controlled by others. On the other hand, she can choose to release, at the peril of a myriad of negative definitions that will also dictate how she thinks of herself and carries her body into different worlds of sexual expression.
-
- In Western culture… this “Ho –vs– Housewife” type of judgment limits women to the ‘good girl’/ ‘bad girl’ role that played out during a time when women had no other recourse but to oblige the law or practically starve. We’ve done much to work our way out from such reason. But …apparently we have a lot more work to do.
PLEASE COME OUT FROM THIS SORT OF MOCKERY.
